That same year he participated in the show “Amor Brujo”, in the role of protagonist. the Kings of Spain so that she acted in Carmen de los Chapiteles and made her debut in the theater of the Alhambra with “Cautivo” with Manolete, La Hierbabuena and Beatriz Martín. Three years later, he participated with Carmen Linares on a tour of Jordan and Tunisia. He began in the Neptune hall of Granada, later, together with La Chunga at Café de Chinitas in Madrid and also toured throughout Spain within the Cultural Weeks of the Ministry of Culture.Īt age 18 he mounted the choreography of his first work “Passion”. With only fourteen years he went to Cairo with the company of Cachado and since then he has not stopped acting. With extensive artistic backgrounds in his family (he is the nephew of the famous bailaores Mario Maya, Manolete and Juan Maya Marote) he started dancing at the age of three years in the Cueva de la Rocío, owned by his parents, where he soon became the main attraction for the many visitors of that popular Granada place.
